Just the weekend after our big move to our lovely new house, a special friend and new neighbour arranged for us to collect our allotment key! So without having even seeing the allotments before, off we went to meet site manager Terry. After showing us the best of the available plots the deal was done and the key was in my hand!
I must admit that the size of the plot was a little daunting to look at, but with plenty of enthusiasm I tried not to let this bother me.
Terry gave us such a warm welcome to allotment life, showing us the communal greenhouse and giving us some fresh tomatoes.
