It’s been a little over a year since my last blog post; it was never my intention to take a break but after transitioning to full-time work (I work part-time for a care company and part-time for myself), it’s the way that things panned out. Not only adjusting to the additional working hours but also the trials and tribulations of a global pandemic! Eeek!

Things are a little messy and in need of repair!

I have to say that I have missed it! We have been plodding on at the allotment, taking pictures but sharing less, my central platform being Instagram @diggingtheearth.org.uk. We haven’t been on the plots as much as I would like, but I haven’t ever felt tempted to give them up. Little and often is the way forward for us.

We have been absent for so long that I feel a like I need to reconnect to the blog again (if that makes any sense at all!). I think it may take a little time to get back into the habit of sharing useful things again. I will try my best so bear with me!

The New Tunnel made from Scrap!

Speaking of the pandemic, we are incredibly thankful to be working and healthy and goodness, has an allotment ever been appreciated more?

Please feel free to comment, let me know how you are, how you are coping and of course, point me in the direction of allotment jobs I should be doing right now!

I shall post again soon!

Sarah.
